Settings → Users & Roles is who has access to this workspace, what their role lets them do, and how much they are handling. It holds the member roster, outstanding invitations and the team performance report.

The four roles

Roles are ranked, so anything an Agent can do an Admin can do too.
A member is a person. An AI agent is software. The role spelled “Agent” here is always the human one.

What each role decides, in practice

Your role is per workspace. If you belong to several, you may be the owner of one and an Agent in another; the switcher shows which role you hold in each. See Workspaces.

The roster

Each row shows the member’s avatar with a presence dot (online, away or offline), their name and email, when they joined, and their role. Your own row is marked You. A summary line above the list counts who is online, away and offline.

Inviting a teammate

Invitations are links, not emails — Watx generates one and you share it however you like.
1

Open the dialog

Press Invite member (admins and the owner only).
2

Choose the role

Admin, Agent or Viewer. The dialog describes each as you pick it. You cannot invite someone as owner.
3

Choose how long the link lives

1 day, 7 days or 30 days. Seven is the default.
4

Add a label (optional)

Up to 80 characters, for example Sara — support team. It only ever appears in your pending list, to remind you who you sent the link to.
5

Generate and share

Press Generate link. Copy it, or press Send via WhatsApp to open a pre-filled message naming the workspace and how long the link is valid.
The link is shown once. Watx stores only a hash of it, so there is no “copy again” button and no way to recover it. If you lose it, revoke the pending invitation and create a new one.
Inviting counts against your plan’s team members limit — if the workspace is at the cap, creating the invitation is refused with the number you have used. See Plans and billing. What the invitee sees when they open the link — including what happens if they have no account yet — is on Signing in.

Pending invitations

Below the roster, admins and the owner see every invitation that has not been accepted and has not expired, with its role, when it was created and when it expires. Revoke kills the link immediately. Accepted and expired invitations drop off the list.

Changing someone’s role

Admins and the owner can change a role from the dropdown on that member’s row. Three rules:
  • The owner’s row cannot be changed here.
  • You cannot change your own role.
  • Owner is never an option. Promoting someone to owner is a transfer, not a role change.
The change takes effect immediately.

Removing a member

Press the delete button on their row (admins and the owner; never on the owner’s row, never on your own). The confirmation says what happens:
  • they lose access to this workspace immediately;
  • any other workspace they belong to is untouched;
  • their login is not deleted.
Watx does not create a replacement workspace for someone you remove. If it was their only one they will see “You’re not in any workspace” — a real state, not an error — and an invite puts them straight back.

Transferring ownership

There is exactly one owner per workspace, and the owner is the one the plan is billed to. Ownership transfer is not self-serve today — contact support@watx.in and we will move it, along with the subscription.
A login can own only one workspace at a time today. If the person you want to hand it to already owns a workspace of their own, the transfer is refused — tell us and we will work out the right arrangement with you.

Team performance

Below the roster on the same page is the team performance report, covering how much each member is handling. It sits here on purpose: access first, then output. See Team performance.
